1. How to use the 'Search Food Directory' functionality?

To enter a query into 'Search Food Directory', just type in a few descriptive words and hit the 'Search Food Directory' key (or click on the enter button) for a list of relevant web pages. The Foodbureau.com Directory only returns web pages that contain all the words in your query. Therefore refining or narrowing your search is as simple as adding more words to the search terms you have already entered. Your new query will return a smaller subset of the pages found for your original broader query.

2. How to use advanced search?

You can increase the accuracy of your searches by clicking onto the 'Advanced Search' link. Options available here include the following:

'Find results with all words' - filter your results by requesting answers from outlined sources only.

'Without the words' - delete results by outlining words which are not required.

'Located in' - request results from particular locations only.

'This Category' - an option is available to search this category or entire site (find this beside the 'Search Food Directory' link.

3. How to check listings in categories ?.

Simply click on the category (or sub-category) you require and the list of companies will appear.

4. How to submit a company for listing on the directory?.

Click on the 'Submit an item' link at the base of the page, fill the 'Submit a Site Form' and click on the 'Submit' link. Your site will be forwarded to Foodbureau.com directory staff who will categorise your listing. You will be e-mailed when your company is listed.

It is important that you adequately describe your company and list your products. By so doing the search will find your company more efficiently.

5. Can my listing be changed without my knowledge?.

All changes to listings are e-mailed to listed companies.
